Each note has a printed face value of 100 bolívares. Under Venezuela’s 2021 monetary redenomination, one digital bolívar was equivalent to 1,000,000 bolívares soberanos (BsS), so each 100-bolívar note represented the equivalent of 100,000,000 BsS in the preceding monetary unit. The 50-note group has a combined face value of 5,000 digital bolívares, equivalent to 5 billion BsS under that conversion.

Issued by the Banco Central de Venezuela, this 2021 series accompanied the introduction of the Bolívar Digital, a redenomination that removed six zeros from the previous currency system.
