Date:Friday, August 16, 2024
Two new banknotes will be incorporated into the current Monetary Cone, as part of the expansion of the current family of monetary species.
The new pieces of Bs.200 and Bs.500 will begin to circulate gradually. These new banknotes complement the current monetary cone, to meet the requirements of the national economy.
The two new monetary species have on their obverse the image of the Trilogy of the Liberator Simón Bolívar and, on the reverse, the image commemorating the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo.
